Primitive Baptist Associations in New York included Warwick, Allegany, Lexington, Roxbury, Chemung, Western Conference, and Northern Conference. Several of the oldest Associations in New York began as Old School, but were corrupted in doctrine, and finally went off into New School arminianism in the early 1800's.

Cast Out of the Synagogue, by the Rulers and Chief Priests of the Sanhedrin, with appendix, "An allegory, Black River Bear Hunting." A collection of Minutes of Councils, letters, and articles, published by about thirty different Old School Baptist churches, showing the clerical usurpation of authority belonging only to local churches, by "conventions," "seminaries," and "mission societies," in the state of New York.

State of Pennsylvania

The first Baptist Churches in Pennsylvania were organized before 1700, as follows: Cold Spring, Bucks Co. (1684); Lower Dublin (later called Pennypack)(1689); and First Philadelphia (1698).

Pennsylvania churches which were organized between 1700 and 1800, per Hassell's Church History, page 552-556, included: Great Valley, 1711; Brandywine, 1715; Montgomery, 1719; French Creek, 1726; Southampton, Bucks Co., Pa., 1746; Tonoloway, Fulton Co., 1754; London Tract, Chester Co., 1780; Philadelphia (Big Red Stone), Fayette Co., 1791; Tuscarora, Juniata Co., 1794. Other very early Pennsylvania churches which have existed (and which at one point in time were considered orthodox, before the division over the modern mission system) include Great Bethel, Fayette Co. (1770); Goshen, Greene Co. (1773); Peter's Creek, Washington Co. (1773); Ten Mile (1773); Turkey-Foot (Jersey), Somerset Co. (1775); Barton's Creek, Pa.; Canton & Columbia, Pa.; Lebanon (Plum Run)(1803), Washington Co.; Ruffs Creek, Pa. (1792); Cast-Steel Run, Pa.; Meadow-Run, Greene Co., Pa.; Mount Moriah (George's Creek), Fayette Co; Great Whitely Creek, Pa.; Indian Creek, Pa.; Bethlehem, Pa.; Enon, Washington Co.; Muddy Creek, Pa.; Connellsville, Pa. (1796); Wells Valley, Pa., and many others.

Primitive Baptist Associations with churches in Pennsylvania included the Philadelphia (later converted to missionism), Baltimore, Redstone, Chemung, Juniata, Delaware River, and possibly others . . .

Churches in the State of Ohio for which we have not been able to determine the location by county include the following: Frankfort, Hamilton & Rossville, Poplar Fork, Swan, Jackson, Ames, Zion, Old Chillicothe, Big Bottom, Mohawk-run, Lee's Creek, Ebenezer, Stillwater, Providence, Big Beaver, Little Beaver, Mad River, Centerville, Hales Creek, Sims Creek, Union, Bloom, and Morris. We would appreciate help in obtaining historical sketches, photographs of meeting houses, lists of members, association minutes, or any other pertinent information about any of the churches on our Ohio website.

Primitive Baptist Associations with churches in Ohio have included the following: Miami, Scioto, Muskingum, Sandusky, Owl Creek-Harmony, Clover, Mad River, Greenville, Indian Creek, Mahoning, East Miami, Burning Spring, Mates Creek, and possibly others.
