SHOHOLA

Shohola Church was organized on Friday morning, August 24, 1894, at a schoolhouse near Shohola Creek, with five charter members, viz., Nicholas Hess Jr., Anna Hess, Hugh McKean, Mary J. McKean, and Gipson McKean. The presbytery was composed of Elders D. M. Vail, William L. Beebe, Benton Jenkins, and Deacon S. B. Beyea.
