CHURCHES:

ROCKY FORK

Organized on May 26, 1827, at the home of John Van Meter, by Elders Benjamin Cave and Thomas Snelson, with five members, viz., John Stealy, Susan Stealy, Chauncy Clark, Sophia Van Meter and Reuben Drake. Rocky Fork was one of the three churches which organized the Sandusky Association, in 1833. The church is located near Marion, at Morral.

Bibler, Bretz, Bunnell, Campbell, Clark, Drake, Edwards, Herald, Hinamon, Hite, Hull, Mouser, Nelson, Sizemore, Stealy, Steurer, Van Buskirk, Van Meter, Wicker (very incomplete list).

ALUM CREEK (June 1835)

Elders A. S. Shoemaker, and W. M. Shoemaker were members of this church.

MARION

WHETSTONE

Whetstone Church was in existence by 1852, as it hosted the Owl Creek Harmony Association that year.
