JUSTUS (NEAR SCRANTON)
Justus Church was organized October 24, 1835, at the home of Stephen Parker, in Abington. The next year they united with the Warwick Association, and reported 56 members in fellowship. Pastors who have served the church include Elders Gabriel Conklin, Benjamin Pitcher, Harvey Rogers, D. M. Vail, and C. E. Benson (up to recent years). The present meeting house was erected in 1890, at Justus Corners.
