NEW HOPE (DEGRAFF)
New Hope Church was organized on January 23, 1915, at DeGraffe, Ohio. The presbytery included Elders Walter Yeoman, Eldon A. Huchison, Harvey J. Adams, and George Waddle, and other brethren (representing the following churches, viz., Mt. Oak, Mt. Pleasant (Washington Courthouse), Mt. Pleasant (Middletown), Tapscott, and Mt. Zion). Elder Harvey J. Adams was chosen as pastor and served until his death in 1931. Bro. James R. Edwards was chosen and ordained deacon the same day, immediately following the constitution of the church. The church became a member of the Miami Association.
