CHURCHES:SAGINAW VALLEY
Saginaw Valley Church was organized August 28, 1948, atthe Cook School, near Akron, Michigan. The charter members were William H. Mauger, Elmer Uhl, Charity Hite Lesh, Vernie Mauger Griffin, Lela Mauger Uhl, Ethel Farlow, and William Farlow. The presbytery was composed of Elders Adam Sarber, Elias Sarber, E. L. Kinter, Daily Hite, Edgar Aleshire, Gordon Watson, Earl Daily, and Deacons and Brethren Fred Gottschalk, John Watson, Will Doane, and David Brubaker. Elder Earl Daily served as moderator, and Elder Daily Hite, as clerk.
