Church and Family History Research Assistance for Primitive Baptist Churches in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Delaware, Connecticut, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont

Hundreds of Churches were established in the New England states, prior to the introduction of Missionary Societies, and Fullerism. In the State Links listed below, we present history of several very early Baptist churches in New England which were originally Primitive in faith and practice, but we are aware that many of these were later swept away by the mission system. Of course, we have also included those Churches which remained faithful to the Primitive Baptists. But, unfortunately, the information we have presents a very incomplete picture, as we know there were and are many more churches than are presented here.
