NEW HOPE
New Hope Church was constituted in Rankin County, on November 19, 1892, with the following members, viz., W. C. Hopson, M. C. Hopson, J. L. Goodman, M. A. Goodman, J. T. Gray, E. E. Gray, J. B. Walters, and A. P. Walters. Elders A. Hollingsworth and J. L. Joyner formed the presbytery.
