Gospel Labor Performed by Rock Springs and Jack's Creek Churches fails to reclaim Moriah and Mt. Paran Churches.
Rock Springs Church made known their objections to Liberalism in a letter to the Association convened in the year 2000, naming the specific errors which were involved. Rock Springs and Jack's Creek Churches have both labored since that time in the spirit of Christian love, with their sister churches which have been influenced by Liberalism, but instead of repenting the erring churches withdrew from the Association and have continued to support Liberalism. As a result, the orderly churches had no alternative but to withdraw fellowship from them, which was done in sorrow, and as kindly and lovingly as possible.
The Original Oconee Association (of Georgia) continues, in opposition to Liberalism.
The Original Oconee Primitive Baptist Association will convene at Jack's Creek Church, on the the Second Sunday in October, 2003, and Saturday before, at 10:00 a.m. both days.
