CHURCHES:
SHILOH
Shiloh Church was constituted September 2, 1837, with the following charter members, viz., William West, Sam Pearson, Roland Brown, Joshua B. Crow, Absalom Wyatte, William Mothershead, John R. Pearson, John Renfro, Arena Mothershead, Mary West, Jane Beacham, Hope Brown, Jemima McKoine, Ruth Brown, and Lavina Crow. The presbytery was composed of Elders Aaron Compton and John Price, and Deacons Henry Kirk and William Thompson.
CHEWALLA
Chewalla Church was constituted on August 6, 1845, with the following charter members, viz., A. B. Morton, Isabelle Morton, Thomas Rickets, Dorcas Rickets, James Humphrey, Rosa Humphrey, and Elizabeth Norris. The presbytery was composed of Elders William West, E. M. Meaders, A. M. Crawford, and W. Nowlin.
