Old New Garden Church Withdraws
from Fishing River Association
In 2002 the pastor of Old New Garden Church urged the other Elders in the association to take a stand on liberalism. After failing to get the Elders to act, Old New Garden sent a letter stating they would not be represented, due to beliefs concerning the liberal movement which they did not agree with. After another year of non-action by the Association, the church simply sent a letter of withdrawal to the 2003 session of the Fishing River Association.
