CHURCHES:

SALEM (ADEL) (1859)

Salem Church (aka "Limesink") was constituted July 9, 1859. The presbytery was composed of Elders R. T. Hall, Ansel Parrish, and E. J. Williams. There were 14 charter members, who were dismissed by letter from Pleasant Church in Berrien Co., Ga. Pastors have been as follows, after 1884: Elder T. W. Stallings, I. A. Wetherington, J. B. Luke, Henry Swain, J. W. McMillen, Tom R. Crawford, S. A. Barnard, and O. V. Marshall.

BETHLEHEM (LENOX)(1893)

Bethlehem Church, near Lenox, was constituted in 1893.

PLEASANT GROVE (ADEL/NASHVILLE) (189_)

Pleasant Grove Church (aka "Longbridge") was organized March 30, 189_, with the following charter members, viz., J. H. Cornelius (deacon), C. A. Parrish, J. W. Griffin, J. T. Rowan, G. W. Carter, C. A. Rowan, Peter Rentz, F. E. Cornelius, A. N. Parrish, Rachel Griffin, C. B. Hancock, Josephine Carter, M. A. Rowan, and Esther Rentz.

SPRING HILL (SPARKS) (1908)

Spring Hill Church was constituted in 1908.
