LEBANON
Lebanon Church was constituted on the first Sunday in June 1836, with the following charter members, viz., Samuel Little, Rhodes Weaks, Jabez Weaks, J. S. A. Scott, Sarah Little, Tabitha Weaks, and Mary Scott.
MT. NEBO/PLEASANT RIDGE
Mt. Nebo Church was constituted on October 28, 1893, with the following members, viz., A. M. Wilkinson, A. G. Johnson, John Townsend, A. M. Brock, B. B. Ayers, S. A. Johnson, G. A. Townsend, Elizabeth Brock, and N. E. Walker. Elders H. R. Tolbert, J. S. McCauley, and J. R. Willis formed the presbytery. Elder H. R. Tolbert, a veteran of the Civil War, was chosen as the first pastor. He was followed by Elders J. M. Palmertree, D. J. Jolly, J. R. Willis, W. M. Scott, G. W. Jeffcoats, Guy W. Moore, E. H. Rushing, J. T. Shields, and G. C. McGuire.
