Morris Memorial Church was organized prior to 1939 (the oldest association minutes we presently have), and had grown to 132 members by that date. In 1948, the church had 172 members. Pastors have included Elders James Duncan, E. C. Holder, O. L. Hawkins, R. J. Shepard, and J. W. Perry. Morris Memorial Church is a member of the Tallahatchie Association of Primitive Baptists.

RALEIGH (RALEIGH)
Raleigh Church, at Raleigh, was organized in October 1964, with twenty-four members, twenty-two of whom were dismissed from Morris Memorial Church.
