PINEION (MOUNTAINAIR)(1931)
Pineion Church was organized at the Pineion School house, near Mountainair, New Mexico, in 1931. There were thirteen charter members. The presbytery was composed of Elder L. J. McCarty, moderator, Elder J. A. Barrington, clerk, Elder O. F. Dearing, Deacon T. D. Lewis, and Deacon Harold Boyce. At the same meeting, three brethren were ordained to the office of deacon, viz., T. B. Griffin, W. M. Wright, and Sam Russell.
