CHURCH:
PLEASANT RUN (STANTON)(1882)
Pleasant Run Church, near Stanton, was organized in 1882. This church was also a member of the Missouri Valley Association. Elder S. R. McFarland, of Stanton, was pastor of this church in 1892, according to minutes of the association. Brother Henry Rogers, later a deacon in this church, emigrated to Nebraska territory in 1859.
