MT. VERNON (SEATTLE/ARLINGTON)(SEE ALSO KING COUNTY)

Mt. Vernon Church, at Arlington, was constituted Mt. Vernon Church was organized on October 2, 1915, at the home of Brother and Sister M. E. Martin, 3733 Brooklyn Avenue, N. E., Seattle. The charter members were Brother and Sister M. E. Martin, and Sister Marian Patchin. The presbytery was composed of Elders Achilles Wilson, W. H. Shields, and F. L. Riffe, and Deacon R. J. Yeoman. Elder Achilles Wilson was chosen as the first pastor.
