MT. ZION
Mt. Zion Church was organized on August 6, 1841. Isaac Brown and David Lenox were early moderators; Squire L. Case, Isaac Wright, and James Brown were early clerks. The records of the church from August 1841 to January 1850 have been preserved. Families in the church included Smith, Brown, Hudgens, McCloud and Case.
NOT
The Not Church was a member of the Little Piney Association as late as 1899.
