CHURCHES:ENON
Enon Church, at Lester, was originally in the Indian Creek Association, but was dropped in 1901, and came back in 1933. Former pastors included Elders U. G. Nichols, Dowell Stover, Edgar Lilly, and Emmett Gray.
LITTLE VINE
Little Vine Church, at Beaver, was organized in May 1905. It joined the Indian Creek Association, and remained a member of that body until 1987 when it became an independent church. Pastors have included W. L. Simmons, J. W. Wyatt, John Foley, S. L. Wood, W. C. Keaton, J. F. Lilly, U. G. Nichols, George Foley, J. I. Bowling, and Kenna Lilly.
EGERIA
Egeria Church was organized in 1907, but its records were destroyed by fire in 1942. ELders L. C. Shrewbury and Gilbert Walker are listed as the first pastors after the pastor; other pastors have been Elders G. L. Walker, Emmett Gray, C. B. D. Taylor, Sowell Stover, B. C. Farley, Thomas Jenkins, Dale Mills, Dean Pack, Darrell Hatcher, Kenna Lilly, and Richard Gillispie.
PLEASANT REST
Pleasant Rest Church was organized March 23, 1957, with eight charter members, viz., Elder Dowell Stover, Virginia Stover, Alice Smith, Cosby Lilly, Henry Lilly, E. J. Sturgill, Mary Alice Sturgill, and Alice Burnette (all from Little Bluestone Church) and Wilbert Lilly and Sonia Lilly (from Bluestone View Church). The presbytery was composed of Elders Thomas D. Robertson, Walker Pendleton, C. M. Pendleton, and Henry Smith. Pastors have included Elders Dowell STover, Owen Harvey, and David Bailey. The church has been a member of the Mtount Zion Association since 1957.
SHILOH
Shiloh Church was organized on March 4, 1967, at Cool Ridge, by Elders David H. Lilly, Fonso Justice, K. M. McBride, and Deacons Frank Brooks and Wilbert Lilly. Elder David Lilly was chosen pastor. The church was organized as an arm of Sandlick Church in Webster County. There were nine charter members, and the church had increased to 24 members by 1987.
GRACE
Grace Church was organized on June 10, 1967, at Shady Springs. The presbytery included Elders Roger Merrill Lilly, George Foley, and Dale Mills. There were 52 charter members.
