Goshen Church was an early member of the Hazel Creek Association. The records of this church have not been located.

MT. HOPE

Mt. Hope Church, near Martinstown, was organized in October 1854, at the home of Thomas L. Collins, in Putnam Co., by eleven charter members, viz., Johnson P. Baker, Catharine Collins, Charlotte Collins, Hannah L. Collins, Jacob M. Collins, Margaret Collins, Thomas L. Collins, William B. Collins, Isaac M. Franklin, James Mullenix, and Mary Mullenix. The presbytery was composed of Elders John Collins and David Wortman.

Pastors of the church included Elders John Collins, F. B. Buster, Peter Thompson, and George Capps.
