Mount Ararat Church was organized July 6, 1811. It is located about 13 miles west of Danville, Virginia. Early pastors included Elders Thomas Loveless, Hezekiah Smith, James Dameron, William S. McDowell, Thomas N. Walton, and W. R. Dodd.
WEATHERFORD
Weatherford Church was organized in 1879, and is a member of the Staunton River Association. It is located about five miles northwest of Gretna, Virginia.
