LITTLE FLOCK

Little Flock Church was organized at the home of James H. Hammonds, near Ruskin, in Saturday before the fourth Sunday in October, 1894, with eleven members, viz., James H. Hammonds, Joel Hammonds, H. W. Gerard, Joseph Bruce, M. F. Atkins, Nora Gerard, M. H. Simmonds, Lovina L. Stratton, Barbara Bruce, Ava B. Swartz, and Jane Atkins. The presbytery was composed of Elders James H. Ring, John Chapman, A. D. Jones, and C. M. Cooper, and Deacons J. N. Berry and Thomas Stevens. Elder Ring was moderator, and Elder Jones, clerk of the presbytery. Elder James H. Hammonds was then ordained as a minister.
