Elder W. J. Casey was a member and pastor of Little Hope Church, in Newton County, which church was a member of the Little Zion Association of Regular (Primitive) Baptists. For information about its constitution, see our Boone County page.
MT. GILEAD
Mt. Gilead Church was a member of the Buffalo Association in 1883 (the oldest minutes we presently have available), at which time the church had 44 members, and the messengers were David Slusher, A. J. Self, and J. J. Casey.
