CHURCHES:
MEADOW CREEK (VALLEY VIEW)(RINER)(1785)
Meadow Creek Church was organized in 1785 with twenty-eight charter members. They were served by Elder John Lawrence, and later by Elder William Howard. The New River Association minutes of 1904 show that this church had sold its property at the former site and changed its name to Valley View.
MONTGOMERY (BLACKSBURG)
Montgomery Church was received as a member of the New River
Association in September 1922.
