HILLSBOROUGH (SILOAM)
Siloam Church, at Macleay, was organized at Sodaville, on February 27, 1847, with ten charter members, viz., Elder William Simpson, Mary Simpson, Martha Jane Simpson, Elizabeth Wisdom, Elder Joseph Turnidge, Elizabeth Turnidge, Daniel Snelling, Absalom Smith, Hiley Smith, and William McLain. Elders William Simpson and Joseph Turnidge formed the presbytery.

SANTIAM
Santiam Church, Santiam City, was organized sometime prior to the organization of the Siloam Association in October 1849. Elder Joseph Turnidge is believed to have been the first pastor.
