BIG RUN
Big Run Church, in Franklin township, was a long-time member of the White Water Association.
A substantial brick building was erected in 1871.

LITTLE EAGLE CREEK (JOAN THOMPSON)(INDIANAPOLIS)
Little Eagle Creek Church was organized on the second Saturday in October 1893, at Haughville. It had met as an arm of Salem Church in the Danville Association for some time previous. The presbytery was composed of Elders John R. Daily, C. M. Reed, and brethren from Danville, Mt. Pleasant, Mt. Zion, Salem, Mt. Tabor, Big Run, and Second Fall Creek churches. The church soon united with the White Water Association. Later, the church name was changed to Joan Thompson Church, but in recent years the name has been changed back to the original.
