PROVIDENCE (FREDERICKTOWN)

Providence Church was organized in August 1814, in a small log house, near Fredericktown. The presbytery was composed of Elders Wilson Thompson and John Farrar. It was one of the charter members of the Bethel Association, and is listed in the association minutes as late as 1885.
