CHURCH:

BETHEL (GARDNER)
Bethel Church was organized sometime in late 1873 or early 1874, (see New Mexico) and took part in the formation of a Union Meeting in the month of September 1874, with Antioch Church. It appears that some of the meetings were held at the home of Bro. Gaddis Miller Jr. near Gardner, but most of the members may have lived in New Mexico territory. Elder James Dean moved from Green Horn to Gardner, in 1874. Elder J. T. Clark was also a member of Bethel Church for awhile.
SURNAMES OF MEMBERS:
Clak, Dawson, Hillbern, Miller (very incomplete list due to loss of records).
