CHURCH:
BLUE RIVER (DECATUR)(1871)
Blue River Church was constituted on Monday, September 19, 1871, near Beatrice. Meetings were held on alternate Sundays at the homes of I. J. Claybaugh, Cornelius S. Corwin, Mr. Laferdy, and John C. Parkes, all in the general vicinity of Beatrice. Elders Isaac Claybaugh and Isaac Waggoner were ordained by this church in May 1873.
