CHURCHES:
HICKORY ROCK (1874)
Brethren from Peach Tree, Falls of Tar River and Toisnot met at Hickory Rock, in Franklin County, on November 5, 1874, and organized this church, with Elder Gold moderator, and A. B. Baines as clerk. Six members were received. D. L. Aycock and William B. Uzzell were chosen deacons. Elder Russell Tucker was chosen pastor. The church was received as a member of the Kehukee Association in 1874.
