Pike's Peak Church, Colorado Springs, was organized on Saturday before the fifth Sunday in March 1936, by Elders L. J. McCarty, H. Q. Holdren, A. G. Johnson, and L. E. Thompson. There were thirteen charter members, and two more received when the first invitation was given. Pastors have included Elders Ira Fry, Ray Moore, and Alvin Russell. In 1939 the church purchased a building at 1201 Pike's Peak Avenue. In 1989, the old building was torn down, and a new building constructed at the same location.
