EMMANUEL (CARLSBAD)
Emmanual Church, at Carlsbad, was organized on the fourth Sunday in January 1947. The presbytery was composed of Elders J. B. Hardy and Marvin Smith, and deacons from several churches in Texas. Elder Gerald Hand was ordained here in May 1947.
ARTESIA (ARTESIA)
Artesia Church, at Artesia, was organized June 8, 1957. The presbytery was composed of Elders Ben Howze, George E. Griffin, Dennis Taylor, and Gerald Hand.
