KNOB CREEK

Knob Creek Church was one of the churches which organized the Blue River Association in 1816. Messengers from Knob Creek Church at that time were Elder Thomas Acres and Bro. Frederick Leatherman, who reported 17 members.

SURNAMES OF MEMBERS:

WHISKY RUN (EL BETHEL)

El Bethel Church (or, Whisky Run, as it was first called) was one of the churches which organized the Blue River Association in October 1816. Elder Kinsey Veach and Bro. Jacob Keith were the first messengers, who reported 38 members. Elders Isom Gwin and William Noblitt were also members of this church.
