LITTLE FLOCK (JONESVILLE)(1861)

A Primitive Baptist Church was organized near Jonesville, Cass Co., Mo., on Saturday evening, June 8th, 1861. Elder John Barnet was chosen moderator, and Elder John Bridgewater was chosen clerk, of the presbytery. Letters were presented by eight brethren and sisters, three males and five femals. The males names were Stephen Flood, Deacon Joseph Flood, and J. E. Goodson. The place of meeting appointed was near Jonesville, fifteen miles west of Harrisonville. The Articles of Faith and Covenant were published in the Signs of the Times, 1861, page 107.

LITTLE FLOCK (PLEASANT HILL/HARRISONVILLE)(1870)

Little Flock Church was organized on the fifth Sunday in July, 1870. The presbytery was composed of Elders Joseph Warder, and N. M. Center. There were five charter members, viz., Joseph Cline, James Taylor, Benjamin Osborn, Lewis H. Taylor, and Elizabeth P. Cline. This church was locatedfive miles south of Pleasant Hill, Mo., on Highway 7, 1 1/2 miles west, and 1/2 mile south. Little Flock Church united with the Mt. Zion Association, and remained a part of that body until about 1928, when it became an independent church.
