Liberty Church was listed in the 1883 minutes of the Buffalo Association, with 18 members, and T. M. Lansing as the mesenger.
CROOKED CREEK (HARRISON)
Crooked Creek Church was organized in July 1834 by Elder Samuel Bristow. The church was a member of the Buffalo Association in 1883.

NEW HOPE
PILOT MOUNTAIN (HARRISON)
Pilot Mountain Church was listed in the Buffalo Association minutes of 1883, at which time the church had 11 members, and the messengers were W. Still and T. J. Shipman.
LITTLE HOPE (PEDLO)
Little Hope Church was organized on the first Saturday in October, 1889, at the schoolhouse near Pedlo. There were six charter members, viz., Newberry James, John C. James, Catharine James, Benthiney Hatchcoat, Sarah A. Webb, and Mattie Stovall. The presbytery was composed of Elders E. S. Casey and William J. Casey, and Bro. J. N. Casey, of Enon Church, in Marion County. Elder William J. Casey was chosen as the first pastor.
