DEEP WATER

PLEASANT GAP

Pleasant Gap Church was organized before 1850. Elder Martin White also served this church as pastor. It was one of the churches which composed the Deepwater Association. In 1900, this church hosted the Panther Creek Association of Primitive Baptists.

ELK FORK

Elder Martin White served as pastor of this church after his removal to this county, from Kansas. It was one of the churches which composed the Deepwater Association. Other early ministers in the county included Elders Bridgewater, Tyre Berry, John Barnett, and John E. Goodson Sr.


BETHEL (ADRIAN)

Bethel Church, E 1st St at N Houston St, Adrian, Missouri, was organized in October 1870. David P. Lee was one of the charter members. Elder John White served as pastor of the church, prior to 1900. He also served as moderator of the Panther Creek Association.
