TURNBULL (BON AQUA)(1806)

Turnbull Church was the first church of any faith organized in Dickson County. In August 1803, Elder Daniel Parker, and his wife Patsy settled on Turnbull Creek. The Turnbull Baptist Church was organized by fourteen members (mostly the Parker family) in the home of John Parker in April 1806.
